Part of our Brass Mortice Knob Range, they are specially designed to suit your antique rim locks. Attach the knobs to each other using the threaded spindle and secure them with the supplied grub screw. The backplates detach, allowing one mortice knob to sit flush against the body of the rim lock. The other backplate attaches directly to the surface of the reverse side of the door using the included brass wood screws.
These mortice knobs will also function beautifully with tubular latches. In this case, install both backing plates to the surface of the door using the wood screws.
